Room 101 Uncle Lee cigars in stock before selling out

Matt Booth set a Room 101 sales record by clearing out 100 boxes of his new Uncle Lee cigar at Jorge Ahued’s annual Christmas party. Jorge, owner of Stogies of Houston, set a record of his own with over 300+ guests in attendance at his annual holiday event.

Every square inch of his shop was occupied inside and out with revelers enjoying smooth drinks, delicious food, great smokes and live music.

On the menu was roasted pig, cocktails and a buffet featuring East Asian cuisine.

The big news of the night was Matt Booth’s national launch of his new Uncle Lee cigar. Booth’s latest cigar is a tribute to his uncle Lee who introduced him to cigars.

Uncle Lee is a small batch release with a selected distribution across the United States. At the moment you can only buy the Uncle Lee cigar from Stogies of Houston. However, due to the cigars selling out at the launch event, you’ll have to wait until February 2015 for the next shipment.

If you haven’t met Matt, he’s definitely a character all his own. He and Brandon Holzworth, Area Sales Manager for Cubanacan, had an interesting interaction in the Stogies humidor.  See video below:

I have to give a shout out to the Stogies of Houston staff who did an excellent job keeping everything in order while maintaining the cheerful attitude that has made Stogies one of the best cigar lounges in Houston.

If you haven’t been to Stogies, then definitely check it out. For lancero fans,  you will be pleased to find Jorge’s collection of exclusive lancero’s including the Namakubi, which is another one of Matt Booth’s fine creations.
