2016 Cigar Release Party @ Doc Holliday's | Houston | Texas | United States

2016 has been an incredible year for the world of cigars. The implementation of the FDA’s new regulation has pushed hundreds of new cigars into the market to ensure they are grandfathered in. As a result, the time is now for cigar enthusiasts to try some new and interesting cigars for the very first time.

Sadly some of these cigars will not survive regulation, therefore this could be one of the only times you will try any of these cigars.

So we invite you to join us at Doc Holliday’s as we enjoy an evening of great music by DJ Nando Sanchez, craft cocktails and newly released cigars presented by our friends at Sweet Ash Cigars.

On Friday August 26th, we will kick off festivities in typical Houston Cigar Life fashion with a party catered to each of your senses. Our cigar models will be on hand to ensure your cigars are cut & lit while DJ Nando drops new chill tracks, creating the backdrop to fantastic socializing.

Doc Holliday’s is a new venue in the Rice Village that has an open air patio and a welcoming indoor cocktail lounge. You may purchase cigars from the Doc Holliday humidor and as always, we will have great pairing deals with cigars and cocktails!

Dress code is Summertime Sexy and we encourage you to invite your friends, because life is better when surrounded by those closest to us!

My name is Waqas Syed, people call me W. Prior to starting Houston Cigar Life Magazine in June of 2014, I owned and operated my community newspaper, The Alief Post with a 10,000 monthly local print distribution & global online reach of 30,000 weekly readers. Since then, my focus has been devoted to all things cigars. I have enjoyed cigars for over 18 years and have visited tobacco farms and cigar manufacturing plants in Central America. I have deep respect for the cigar industry's traditions and am excited about the future of cigars in America and around the world. I look forward to sharing great cigars with you and invite you to share your stories with me!
